It’s been a minute (again)

TITLE TOWN Soul & Funk Party (Facebook event)
Saturday, March 5th
Spirit Lodge (Downstairs)
242 51st St., Pittsburgh, PA
9pm – 2am; 21+ w/ ID, $7 before 10pm; $10 after 10pm

It’s been a minute Pittsburgh. After a two month hiatus, we’re stoked to rock with ya’ll once again. Get in early for five hours of boogie-centric debauchery – classic and rare soul, Motown, deep funk, disco, vintage R&B and more – all mixed up in a special dance floor cocktail we like to call “that TITLE TOWN sound.”

It’s also important to say that words can’t describe how we’re all feeling with the recent loss of a few larger than life legends – Betty Davis, Syl Johnson, and Jerry Weber (of Pittsburgh’s Jerry’s Records). All have a unique connection to TITLE TOWN and this month we’ll celebrate and honor them the best way we know how – with the deep healing properties of music.

Always 100% amped-up, loud, and ready for those want to kick it right ‘till 2AM. The vibes here are always right, all night long. From dance purists, to vinyl heads, to party people who just wanna get loose – this is your night.
Often imitated, but never duplicated, TITLE TOWN kicked off in 2009 and has been shaking it up ever since. Funky grooves, up-tempo beats, and a blast of energy from decades past, TITLE TOWN spins hand-picked 45s from regional scenes around the country – including many tunes recorded right here in the Burgh.
These are our anthems – from cathartic classics to the rarest of the rare – they’ll keep ya movin’ all night long. It’s what we do.

Arrive early, capacity is limited. Precautions will be taken following CDC, state, and local guidelines for a safe and enjoyable event. Please visit https://www.spiritpgh.com for the latest COVID-19 policy.

In these unsteady times we know that not everyone is ready to dance so please be respectful on and off the dance floor. TITLE TOWN is a 100% inclusive event. Harassment, disrespect, or rudeness of any kind will not be tolerated.
