Saturday night, middle of winter, Pittsburgh – TITLE TOWN Soul & Funk Party is back with your monthly dose of killer tunes for our favorite dance floor in the city. It’s a signature mix of four-on-the-floor soul, deep funk, vintage R&B, disco, Latin boogaloo and the rest of the best – all vinyl, all with a whole lotta soul.
Deep digging, driving drumbeats and tight grooves – it’s soul and funk music and it’s a formula we’ve been committed to since 2009. We’re not turnin’ back.
Right off the bat, we’ll dim the lights and pour you a stiff drink. We’re on our way and touching down in New Orleans, Memphis, Detroit and back to Pittsburgh, Pa. We’ll take you back to the good stuff – from Ike & Tina Turner and the Supremes to the back-alley soul of Toledo, Ohio and the sweaty, organ-soaked world of the Hurricane Club.
