A DJ, writer, and vocalist with deep roots in the Burgh’s music scene, Sauce Queen is currently writing the definitive biography of funk legend Betty Davis and penned the liner notes for Light In The Attic’s 2023 reissues of Davis’s iconic albums. With a PhD in ethnomusicology and a crate full of wax, she brings deep knowledge and an undeniable groove to the decks—blending raw funk, global rhythms, and deep cuts with style and intention.

Residents DJ Gordy G. & J.Malls round out the night with top-shelf soul, deep funk, disco, and rare grooves—all on vinyl, all night long.

Bringing freshness to Pittsburgh’s clubs since 2009, TITLE TOWN takes you on a journey across the musical landscape – resurrecting deep soul, funk and disco cuts from the early-1960s through the late 1980s – mixing up rarities from Ann Sexton, The Seven Souls, Darrow Fletcher with stone cold classics from Curtis Mayfield, Sister Sledge, The Spinners, Aretha Franklin, Gwen McCrae and more.
