This month, we’ll ya get sweating extra hard when the long-running TITLE TOWN Soul & Funk Party takes over the Brillobox on Saturday, June 8th at 9pm.

Treat yourself as we ease you into those relaxed summer vibes with a not-so-relaxed musical journey from northern soul to disco and everything in between.

Alongside Hammond hits, funky jazz and R&B sit in-your-face-full-on dancers from Kim Weston, The Constellations and Billy Butler.

Shake your limbs to uptempo funk numbers from Renaldo Domino and the late-great Marva Whitney.

Cut a shuffle with friends and kindred spirits when TITLE TOWN hits you with that monthly shot of rhythm n’ soul. From Frank Wilson to Frank Beverly right on through to Ray Bryant and Della Reese then back ‘round to Roy Ayers and Bottom & Company, it’s an electric atmosphere of good vibes ‘til the very last tune is spun out on the turntable.

TITLE TOWN starts promptly at 9 p.m. and goes until 2 a.m.; tickets are $5 at the door, but only 3 bucks if you get in before 10 p.m.

It all goes down at the Brillobox, Pittsburgh’s favorite neighborhood music venue, offering a full food menu, stiff drinks and a commitment and appreciation for quality music and events.
