Whether it’s Aretha, the Impressions, Stevie or an obscure disco banger, TITLE TOWN devotes an entire evening to the inescapable sounds of soul music, funk, Motown, disco, boogie, Northern soul, vintage R&B, and more. To sweeten the pot, Pittsburgh’s own DJ/musician/producer Buscrates will join us behind the controls for an extra special all-45 set.
Always amped-up and ready for those who want to sweat it out and kick it right ‘till 2AM. TITLE TOWN turns it up to another level. The vibes here are always right, all night long. From dance purists, to vinyl heads, to party people who just wanna get loose – this is your night.

Often imitated, but never duplicated, TITLE TOWN kicked off in 2009 and has been shaking it up ever since. Funky grooves, up-tempo beats, and a blast of energy from decades past, TITLE TOWN spins hand-picked 45s from regional scenes around the country – including many tunes recorded right here in the Burgh.

DJ BUSCRATES
Pittsburgh DJ and producer Buscrates creates grooves that oscillate between funk, boogie, jazz or hip-hop. Acoustic drums, drum machines, synthesizers and vocoders are the ingredients of his jams. Solo act, one third of East Liberty Quarters (ELQ) and releases on labels such as Omega Supreme, Bastard Jazz or Voyage Funktastique, this artist has become one of the most important producers in the modern funk scene.
