There’s only one place to be on Saturday, October 7th when TITLE TOWN Soul & Funk Party celebrates its eight-year anniversary at Spirit. TITLE TOWN has been holding it down every month for eight years – rare soul, forgotten funk, vintage R&B, deep-cut disco, and everything and anything in between.

TITLE TOWN upholds Pittsburgh’s rich DJ legacy with an appreciation for timeless tracks and seldom-heard sounds from decades past – Northern Soul, ‘70s nightclub funk, disco and boogie, ’50 and ‘60s vintage rhythm & blues, and anything and everything in between. It’s Etta James meets James Brown, the Steel City to the Motor City, with a feel-good house party atmosphere all night.

The music was created for the dance floor: Up-tempo beats, funky, heavy grooves, and a blast of infectious energy. TITLE TOWN navigates genres and eras, blending the best of labels such as Motown, Stax, and Chess with hand-picked rarities from regional soul scenes around the country and right here in the Burgh.

We know you got soul.
